This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application 10 Second Hero (the “App”), published by Erana Proprietary Limited (“we”, “us”), handles information. We built the App to respect your privacy: it works without an account, and your fitness and camera data never leave your device.
Our fairness commitment: This game must stay fair to everyone, including those less fortunate. It is a single-player game with no pay-to-win: your hero’s evolution tiers are earned only through real exercise and can never be purchased. Optional purchases (like the one-time Founder’s Pack) and opt-in rewarded ads grant only a bonus of the same in-game currency you earn by exercising — a small head start you could earn yourself. They never buy a rank, never buy a victory, and are never required to complete the game.
With your permission, the App uses the front-facing TrueDepth (Face ID) sensor and motion sensors to count your exercise repetitions in real time (for example, detecting each push-up). This processing happens entirely on your device. No image, video, depth map, or camera data is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere. You can decline camera access and still play using Tap-Only mode.
If you enable it, the App can read your in-app workout history and write your completed sprints to Apple Health as HIIT workouts, so your effort counts toward your Activity rings. This health data stays on your device and in your iCloud-secured Apple Health store. We never receive, transmit, sell, or use your health data for advertising, and we do not use HealthKit data for any purpose other than the features you enable.
The App offers optional, opt-in rewarded ads supplied by Google AdMob. You are never required to watch an ad to play or finish the game; ads only ever add a bonus you chose. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, which can include your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and ad-interaction data, in accordance with Google’s own policies:
We use TelemetryDeck to understand how the game is played — for example, how many players finish a Battle Sprint, or how far along the villain ladder people get. This tells us what to build next; it is never used to profile you.
Signals are anonymised on your device before they are sent and cannot be traced back to you. They carry no name, no email address, no advertising identifier, and no contents of your Apple Health or camera data. Analytics data is never linked to your identity, never sold, and never used for advertising or for tracking you across other apps and websites. In Apple’s App Privacy label this is declared as Product Interaction, used for Analytics.
On first relevant use, the App presents Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are still shown but are non-personalised. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we present a Google-certified consent message (Google UMP) to gather your choices under applicable law. You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset your advertising identifier there.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, or the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to opt out of the “sale/sharing” of personal information for advertising. Because we do not hold your personal data ourselves, most advertising-related requests are handled through Google (see the links in Section 4) and your device’s tracking and advertising-identifier controls. To exercise any right with us, contact us using the details below.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising SDK, please contact us and we will assist.
Game progress is retained on your device until you delete the App or its data. We apply reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
